I turn the corner firing on reason
Head on the two of us collide
My gentle heart battling the season
And I'm left wondering why
Dive in or do I admire it?
Open or hide under the covering?
Tired of quiet or bite it
My mouth is open wide
Gentle hearts change like the season
And I'm left wondering why
Dive in or do I admire it?
And I'm left wondering why
Open or hide under the covering?
And I'm left wondering why
I'll tell you how I cheated the divine
I'm simply not cut for this design
You sure know how to pour it in the wounds
Salty tongues will batter it right outta you
And I see you got potential
Salty tongues will batter it right outta you
And I see you got potential
Salty tongues will batter it right outta you
Of love and of the divine
Dive in or do I admire it?
And I see you got potential
Open or hide under the covering?
Of love and of the divine
Dive in or do I admire it?
And I see you got potential
Open or hide under the covering
Of love and of the divine
And I see you got potential
Of love and of the divine!

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
